5. Arnold Cassel  born 1670, married Susanna de la Plaine on Sept. 02, 1693. Arnold was a recorder of deeds in Germantown with Arnold's name as recorder. His children were John, Daniel, Arnold, Nicholas, Daniel, Veronica, Susanna and Elizabeth.

3. Arnold Cassel, Jr., b Jan. 3, 1700; married Lydia (last name unknown); d 1737. Lydia, his widow, was the administratix; later she married again to William Cathcart. Arnold Cassel had three children, James 11 years, Israel 9 years, and Arnold 7 years, at the time of his death. He resided on Front Street, Philadelphia, where he owned two houses one brick and one wooden; the fronts were 20 feet, depth 130 feet with a five foot alley.
4. Nicholas Cassel, b Nov. 11, 1702; married Deborah Satherswaite in 1726; d. Dec. 31, 1759. Children: John, Joseph, Susanna and Mary.

7. Valentine Castle  b. 1730. He married Mary Margartha Wilfong on Oct. 15, 1751 in PA. They had two children. Valentine & Peter. Peter was born Nov 19, 1768 in VA. Peter married Elizabeth Gragg and they had twelve children; Sussanah, Catherine, Mary, Cerpata, Jane, Jacob, Elizabeth, Sarah, Peter, Barbara, Salinda and John  Cassell (Castle).

Grimm).  They have eight children (that I know of) Martha (Marrelina), Lafayette (Lavina), Christina,  James Granville, Henry, Cyrus, Layford and Flemming.  Layford married Mary E. Daniels.  They had one daughter; Regina Castle.

1. James C. Castle 1892-1966      SS# 401-18-6146 as stated on the Death Certificate. On June 5, 1917 he registered for WWI.  It states that his birth date is  June 5, 1895 being  22 years old. Working with his brother Cleve as a Coal Miner on Muddy Branch in Johnson County, KY for North East Coal Company. He is listed as married with two children.  He is 5 ft 5 in. and medium built. He has  Brown eyes and  Light colored hair.  Living in Nippa, KY. He has one other family member (Cleve) listed for the WWI Draft.
   
2. Cleve Castle  b. May 1, 1887.  Cleve was a Coal Miner and works for North East Coal Company on Muddy Branch, Johnson Co., KY, USA. On June 5, 1917 he registered for WWI. He is listed as being medium height and built. Having black hair and black eyes. He is married and has four children. 1. Alma Castle b. Sept. 15, 1932 in Magoffin County, KY. She married Lloyd Jenkins on March 04, 1947 (see Jenkins Family Tree). They have seven children; Jerry, Jimmy, Larry, Mary (my Mom), Brenda, Terry and Eula Jenkins.

3. Orville Castle b. April 14, 1918 - d. March 01,1991. Buried at the Lanc Cemetery in Mansville, Ohio.  Orville married Lucy Montgomery on Aug 19, 1939 in Kentucky.  Lucy passed away July 5, 1995. They have six children:  William Douglas (married Elizabeth (?), they have two children Elizabeth & Michael), Donald Richard (married Judith (?), they have two children Christopher & Jeffery. Don passed away in 1994.), Sandra Sue (Susie) (married Richard Plasencia, they have three children Bryan Grant, Ricky and Robert), Karen Lou (married Frank Schultz and they have two children Tiffany & Timothy), Linda Louise (married Carl Horn and they have one child Kristin) and Judy Elaine (married Jack Fiely and they have two children Eric & Laura). Orville  served in the US Navy. He was in the WWII. 
   
4. Raymond "Ramey" Charles Castle born Nov. 30, 1915 and died Feb. 13, 1987. He married Ida Howard on Oct. 21, 1933.  Ida was born March 05, 1993 and died May 07, 1993. She is the daughter of James Rod Howard and Pheobe (last name unknown).  They have eight children; James E., Grover Cleveland, Carson, Edmond, "Ramey" Jr.,  Norma Lee, Delmar and Wanda.
