Nancy Adams Slusher b. 1881 d. 1956. Nancy & Dan married in 1914. They had one child.

1. Jess Brown Jan. 14,1922 - Nov. 21, 1943. KIA. On Nov. 12, 1943, Friday, Sgt. Jess Brown was wounded in Italy. On Nov. 21, 1943, Sunday,  Jess died in North Africa. Jess is buried at the Conley Cemetery.

 Notes:

 Dan died of brain cancer. The cancer ate a hole in the side of his head.  The pain was so bad that he went to the woods one day to hang himself.




Rosa Gose Brown
Rosa married Harry Coffee and Jim Press Adams (not sure what order). Jim and Rosa had one son, Dewey Adams.  Rosa is buried at the Bluegrass Cemetery.
Dewey Adams b. March 15, 1899 d. June 1899. Dewey is also buried at the Bluegrass Cemetery.

John William Brown was born Jan. 21, 1881 and died Dec. 24, 1948 in Lawerence County, Kentucky. John married Nancy Jane "Nannie" Mcfarland in 1915. John and Nannie had one son. James Aldwin Brown b. 1917 d. 1918. James A. Brown is buried at the Bluegrass Cemetery in Magoffin County. Nannie was married to Winfield "Win" Scott Flint. Nannie and Win had one daughter Thelma Flint. Thelma M. Flint b. 1901 d. 1993. Thelma lived with John & Nannie during the  1920 US Census. Thelma married Alex Allen.

George Ann Brown b. Sept. 1880 d. 1967, buried at the Bluegrass  Cemetery. George Ann married Floyd Patrick. FLoyd Patrick b. 1877 d. 1932, buried at the Bluegrass Cemetery. Floyd is the son of James Patrick and Amanda Adams. George Ann & Floyd had three children.

Sgt. Jesse "Jess" Brown  b. Jan. 14, 1922 and died Nov. 21, 1943 in  Africa. Sgt. Jess Brown was wounded on the 12th of Nov. in action in Italy on Friday, died on the 21st of Nov. on a Sunday in North Africa. They shipped his body back to Magoffin County to be buried at the Conley Cemetery in Magoffin County, Kentucky.
